Audience Research Pro does not collect any personal data. The Extension does not gather, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information on external servers.

The Extension only reads the following data locally within your browser:

• Content of the currently active browser tab (to perform its analysis function)
• Data you explicitly enter into the Extension's interface (stored locally only)
• Extension settings and preferences you configure

No data is ever sent to our servers, third-party servers, or any external service.

2. Data Handling

All data processing occurs entirely within your browser:

• Local processing only: All analysis and computations are performed locally on your device
• No transmission: No data is transmitted to any external server, API, or third party
• No tracking: We do not track your browsing activity, history, or behavior
• No analytics: We do not use any analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking tools
• No advertising: We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes

3. Data Storage

Any data saved by the Extension is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage using Chrome's built-in storage API:

• Data is stored locally on your device only
• Data never leaves your browser
• Only you can access your stored data
• Data is automatically removed when you uninstall the Extension
• You can clear all data at any time from the Extension's settings

We do not share any data with third parties.

• We do not share your data with any other third-party service
• There are no third-party integrations that receive your data

5. Permissions Explained

The Extension requests only the permissions necessary for its core functionality:

• activeTab / tabs: To read the current page content for analysis
• storage: To save your settings and data locally in your browser
• scripting: To extract page data needed for analysis
• contextMenus: To provide right-click menu functionality
• alarms: To schedule local reminders and periodic checks
• notifications: To display local browser notifications
• sidePanel: To display the Extension interface in Chrome's side panel

6. Third-Party Services

Audience Research Pro does not integrate with, connect to, or transmit data to any third-party service. The Extension operates entirely offline within your browser.

7. Children's Privacy

This Extension is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since the Extension collects no personal data from anyone, this requirement is inherently satisfied.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
